Tottenham players were working against sacked manager Tim Sherwood in the final weeks of the season, it has been revealed.
The London Evening Standard says during the closing weeks of the season, the lack of public support from the board found its way to the squad.
As it became clear that Sherwood would leave, certain players are believed to have shown a poor attitude in training sessions, making it apparent they were unconvinced by the manager or his methods.
There were even suspicions among the coaching team that the nature of injuries was exaggerated at different times, and that there were players who did not play when the staff believed they were fit to do so.
