Tottenham planning new contract talks with Rose, Walker

Tottenham are planning new contract talks with Danny Rose.

The Mirror says Rose will be rewarded for his fine form for club and country with a new Tottenham contract.

England left-back Rose, one of the few Three Lions players to emerge with credit from Euro 2016, established himself as first choice for Spurs and his country, and has attracted interest from Manchester City and Chelsea.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy – who is working through a queue of players demanding new deals after the club secured Champions League football – will offer Rose a significant increase on his current £35,000-per-week agreement, which runs until 2019.

Right-back Kyle Walker, another rare England success story this summer, is also in preliminary talks about a new contract at White Hart Lane.
