Tottenham plan £25M bid for Real Madrid's Casillas

El Mundo says Spurs have drawn up a financial package for Casillas worth £4 million-a-year and are prepared to make the Spaniard the second most expensive keeper in the game with a bid of £25 million. Only Juventus No1 Gigi Buffon has changed clubs for more money.

Tottenham's contract offer is a clear £1.5 million-a-year more than what Casillas earns at Real. The Spain international is the second highest earner at Madrid behind club captain Raul.

It's emerged today that a rift between Casillas and senior teammates is developing at Real, which could hasten his exit to the Premiership.
