Tottenham plan a £5 million bid for Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka.
The Ukraine international is off contract in June, but Spurs plan to step in before tomorrow's deadline.
The Sunday Mirror says Konoplyanka's father, Oleg, said on Friday that his son - a target for Manchester United and Liverpool last summer, and also for the latter at this time last year - would see out his deal with Dnipro.
But Spurs are ready to offer £5m to secure him now - especially as their squad will be depleted by the departure of Aaron Lennon, who is on the verge of a loan move to Hull until the end of the season.
