Ryan Mason and Kevin Wimmer are backing Tottenham Hotspur to swiftly recoil from Wednesday night's disappointment.
Spurs missed out on the chance to go top of the Premier League table when losing 1-0 to West Ham United at Upton Park but midfielder Mason, despite admitting it was a negative result, was confident of recovering in Saturday's crucial North London derby with Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
"We were very angry to concede from a set piece and from there we were always chasing the game," said Mason after Spurs lost out to Michail Antonio's seventh-minute header.
"We need to recover well and put in a good performance on Saturday so we can forget this."
Defender Wimmer echoed Mason's sentiments: "It was very disappointing. We were a bit better in the second than the first but we didn't play well
"It was a very unnecessary result tonight but we will turn it around on Saturday. We will give it our all to do that."
