Tottenham have held talks with Sassuolo for striker Simone Zaza.

Tuttosport says Juve have first refusal on the 23-year-old for the next two years after the Turin club bought a share in the striker when he left Sampdoria.

Sampdoria sold Zaza in the summer of 2013, with Juve stumping up £2.6m for 50 percent of his ownership over three years.

Sassuolo, meanwhile, paid £4m for 50 percent of the Italy international that included his playing rights.

Spurs must therefore negotiate terms with both clubs, although Sassuolo already appear willing to surrender their share of the man this winter.
