Tottenham have opened talks with Lyon for midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele spent last season on-loan at Lyon from Amiens and they have triggered his permanent option for a fee of €8m.
L'Equipe says Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has approached Lyon about discussing a deal for Ndombele. Levy is willing to offer €40m for the midfielder.
However, OL president Jean Michel Aulas is demanding €60m to sell the youngster.
Last season, Ndombele played 47 games producing eight assists.
