Tottenham have opened new contract talks with Dele Alli.

The Mirror says informal discussions have taken place, indicating their determination to keep him.

Alli is likely to be offered a deal worth £100,000-a-week — almost doubling his current wages and making him one of the club's top earners.

While they have yet to begin formal talks, there is a will on Tottenham's side to get it done — and Alli has made it clear he is happy at the club, especially after thriving in the Champions League this season.

Alli signed his last deal 18 months ago.
