Tottenham have opened talks with Atletico Madrid for striker Adrian.
The youngster has been likened to Barcelona star David Villa and is being tipped for great things after his first season with Atletico.
Marca says Spurs have made an approach and an opening offer for Adrian, but it falls well short of Atletico's valuation.
Atletico are seeking around £14 million for Adrian.
