Tottenham have opened talks with Ajax for striker Luis Suarez.
The Daily Mail says Tottenham want to bring in a new striker and have held tentative negotiations over Ajax's Suarez.
But the Dutch club's £17 million asking price is deemed too expensive for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
The Uruguay international has also been linked with Barcelona, with his agent being the brother of Pep Guardiola.
