Tottenham Hotspurs officials are reportedly on their way to Milan to make a bid for Inter Milan's Marco Materazzi. The World Cup winning defender is likely to be offered a lucrative three year deal but in light of today's decision by Brazilian Kaka to reject a rich pay day to remain at a club he loves, Materazzi is likely to follow his lead.

Ironically Materazzi, who is struggling for regular first team action with Inter Milan this season, would be a walk-up starter at Spurs.
