Tottenham are planning a bid for Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka.
The Daily Express says Spurs are aware Anelka is available from Chelsea after failing to fit into coach Avram Grant's system since his January arrival from Bolton.
Tottenham are willing to match the £15 million Chelsea paid for Anelka to take him across London.
