Tottenham to offer Keane for West Ham ace Parker

Tottenham are ready to offer Robbie Keane to West Ham United in a swap for Scott Parker.

The Sunday Mirror says Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is a long-time admirer of Parker, who has yet to sign the new contract on offer to him at West Ham.

Liverpool are also keen on Parker, but he would prefer to stay in London.

West Ham are reluctant to sell Parker, but they also acknowledge that this is the time to cash in on a player who is approaching his 30th birthday.

Keane may well figure in the deal. The Republic of Ireland striker is down the pecking order at White Hart Lane behind both Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe.

Indeed, Russian striker Roman Pavlyuchenko started ahead of Keane last week against Young Boys.
