Tottenham are now clear favourites to land Estudiantes defender Juan Foyth.
Spurs and PSG have been battling all summer to land the Argentine youngster.
And the Guardian says Spurs were in contact with the Argentinian club last month but have now firmed up their interest and are hoping to sign the 19-year-old for around £9m.
Tottenham are now hoping to conclude a deal for Foyth after entering advanced talks with the centre-back's club Estudiantes.
