Tottenham are expected to try again for Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi in the summer.
The former Manchester United and Newcastle United striker attracted enquiries from Spurs in January, which have been confirmed by manager Harry Redknapp.
It's emerged Tottenham had a €30 million offer for Rossi rejected by Villarreal in the final hours of the winter market.
The American-raised Italy international remains high on Redknapp's shopping list for the summer as he seeks a goal scorer for next season.
