Tottenham No2 Kevin Bond insists they're happy with the form displayed by Jermain Defoe.
Bond insists the England striker has demonstrated a superb attitude to slipping down the pecking order.
"Jermain has been extremely unlucky, but continues to train very professionally," he said.
"He was in the side at the start of the season and has adapted the way he plays, getting more involved.
"He's unlucky not to have played more, but Rafael van der Vaart is playing in a similar role and is the most clinical finisher around, justifying his selection.
"But Jermain has been terrific and I'm sure he'll be there when we need him."
