Tottenham and Newcastle United are chasing Lyon's Bosman prospect Bafetimbi Gomis.

The Daily Star says the Toon and Spurs are known to be keen on the explosive forward who's contract expires on 30 June.

Newcastle almost signed him before the season started but the deal fell through at the last minute.

But the French international hasn't made his mind up where he will be playing next season, opening the door for a Premier League switch.

Gomis said: "I play with the mind of a player who loves his club and respects his contract, I am very proud to be part of Lyon and I have not signed any agreement with any club yet."
