Tottenham are intensifying their pursuit of FC Twente striker Luuk de Jong.
Voetbal International says Spurs are suddenly new favourites for the Holland international, who has also been linked with Liverpool.
Twente coach Steve McClaren sees De Jong as ideal for the Premier League, though believes he should stay in the Eredivisie for at least another 12 months.
