Tottenham's Christian Eriksen admits it is a thrill to be compared to a pair of star players from his former club.
The Danish playmaker has drawn comparisons to Ajax greats Rafael van der Vaart (now with Hamburg) and Wesley Sneijder (Galatasaray) and although he has never been around the duo, he feels privileged to be mentioned in the same breath.
"It is pretty cool to be compared with such big players," he said.
"I have never trained with either of them, but I am aware of them as I'm from the same club.
"They play with the same style and they had really big success when they got away from Ajax so I hope I can achieve the same."
