Tottenham are on the verge of signing Benjamin Stambouli from Montpellier.
Reports suggest that the 24-year old French midfielder is on his way to London and will undergo a medical with Spurs with this weekend.
Stambouli was a target for Swansea City earlier this summer but it appears as though Montpellier and Tottenham have now agreed a fee for the transfer.
Defensive midfielder Stambouli, who will become Mauricio Pochettino's sixth summer signing, made his debut for La Paillade in 2010 and has gone on to make close to 130 appearances for the French club.
