Tottenham are believed to be closing in on a £12million deal for AZ Alkmaar's Vincent Janssen.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Spurs have agreed a fee with the Dutch club and look likely to complete the signing of the 21-year-old striker.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool have all previously been linked with the AZ hotshot while Atletico Madrid, Wolfsburg and AC Milan have shown significant interest of late.

But it appears as though Tottenham will win the race for Janssen who is keen on a move to the Premier League.

Mauricio Pochettino believes Janssen will be the perfect foil for leading striker Harry Kane after the former Almere City ace fired home 32 goals in all competitions for AZ last season.
