Tottenham are ready to compete with Liverpool for Sporting Lisbon defender Tiago Ilori. The Daily Mail says Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is keen to recruit a defender with concerns surrounding Younes Kaboul's fitness and Jan Vertonghen's injury.
Ilori, 20, is valued at around £8m.
