Tottenham have joined the battle for Burnley fullback Kieran Trippier.

Trippier isn't expected to go down with Burnley this summer and has been linked with Southampton and Liverpool.

The Telegraph says Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is set to beat Liverpool to the £3.5m signing of Trippier.

The former England U-21 right-back will leave Turf Moor this summer following the club's relegation from the Premier League.

A Spurs move for Trippier would place further doubt over the future of USA fullback DeAndre Yedlin.
