Tottenham are interested in Barcelona defender Marc Bartra.
Sport says Spurs are keen on the Spain U21 international, who has seen first team action this preseason under new Barca coach Tata Martino.
Bartra was frustrated last season when seeing former coach Tito Vilanova go with midfielders Javier Mascherano and Alex Song in defence ahead of him.
But Spurs will still face a battle convincing Barca to sell, with president Sandro Rosell admitting they're keen to add a new defensive signing this month rather than selling.
