Chinese Super League club Guangzhou Evergrande have confirmed the signing of Paulinho.

The Brazilian midfielder has joined the Southern China Tigers from Tottenham on a £9.8million deal where he will link up with compatriot Luiz Felipe Scolari.

Paulinho joined Spurs from Corinthians for £17m two years ago but will now move on after being deemed surplus to requirements under Mauricio Pochettino.

It is believed that the deal – a four-year contract for Paulinho – will be made official later this week.
