Premier League returnees Watford are eyeing a summer move for Tottenham's Paulinho.

According to the Daily Mail, the Brazilian midfielder is a surprise target for the Hornets who are preparing a squad for their return to England's top flight in 2015/16.

Paulinho, 26, made just three Premier League starts under Mauricio Pochettino last season and could be offloaded by Spurs I the current transfer window.

It is believed that a season-long loan deal is the most likely option for Watford who would love to lure the former £17million signing to Vicarage Road to play under new manager Quique Sanchez Flores.
