Tottenham midfielder Jenas: Sandro very popular inside dressing room

Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas says Sandro has settled in well at White Hart Lane.

The Brazilian midfielder was outstanding in Spurs' Champions League success against AC Milan.

In his column for the London Evening Standard, Jenas wrote: "Sandro was outstanding for us, proving he's really found his place in the team now.

"It's not easy to come from Brazil to play here but the lads love him to bits.

"He's settled in and he's an absolute joker - one of the funniest guys I've met and he can't even speak that much English. When he's comfortable around you, he just does crazy things. People ask me why he's so funny but it's not one thing he does. He's just very eccentric.

"He'll come and ask me questions: 'JJ, what does this mean?' or 'How do I say this?'. I have come close to stitching him up a few times but I could never forgive someone if they did that to me, so I manage to resist doing it. Some of the boys probably would, though, so he knows who to ask nowadays."
