Tottenham midfielder Jenas: I owe ex-Forest chief Hart

Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas says former Portsmouth boss Paul Hart had a huge influence in his career.

Jenas says he was ready to quit the game while a junior at Nottingham Forest.

He told The Times: "Paul Hart brought me back from the dead. He was the youth team coach at Nottingham Forrest when I was 13 and fed up with football. Paul sat me down and told me he saw a lot of talent in me. I was so pleased, it kicked me into shape."
