Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen insists there's no World Cup hangover at Spurs Lodge.

The Londoners have lost back-to-back games going into their Champions League kickoff against Inter Milan.

Eriksen said, "We are not tired after the World Cup. Everyone has had about the same rest period. Of course we are unlucky that so many players came far at the World Cup.

"It meant that they started the preseason a bit later. But our performance has nothing to do with fatigue. And personally I do not feel tired either. There is no better place to put it right than in the San Siro."
