Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has no doubts about the quality inside Newcastle United's team.
He scored his side's winner during their 2-1 opening-game victory over the Magpies at St James' Park on Saturday.
“It's very important for the rest of the season to build momentum from the start," Alli said following Spurs' win at St James' Park.
“To start the season as well as you can is very important and the first game is crucial to get momentum going.
“It's a very tough place to come, their fans are brilliant for them, they keep going until the end.
“They've got a great team with a lot of threats all over the pitch. You have to stay switched on and we're happy we got the three points.
“We're very ambitious, every player. We want to achieve things. We want to keep improving as a team and individually as well.
“We want to help the team go as far as we can, so we want to be playing. It's down to the manager to make a decision on who he picks, but thankfully we got the three points against Newcastle."
