Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli is facing a lengthy UEFA ban after his dismissal against AA Gent.
UEFA views each straight red card individually - unlike the FA - and they have the option of suspending the Spurs midfielder star for between one and four matches, says the Daily Star.
The maximum ban is usually only handed out for a violent conduct - a punch or something similar, but they could decide to make an example of him.
A four-match ban would hit Spurs hard as it would be carried over to next season when they will potentially be playing in the Champions League.
