Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has been handed a three match European ban.

Alli has copped the suspension for his horror tackle on Gent's Brecht Dejaegere.

The Spurs ace was shown the first red card of his career after lunging in on his opponent as Spurs crashed out of the Europa League last month.

Alli will now miss Spurs' first three matches of the Champions League if they qualify for next season's tournament.
