Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tom Carroll has stated that his side are going all out in order to claim triumph in the Europa League.

Spurs kick off their European campaign with a clash against Qarabag at White Hart Lane on Thursday night.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are considered one of the favourites to go all the way and ahead of the meeting with Azerbaijani champions Qarabag, youngster Carroll believes that his side are strong enough to be able to triumph in the competition.

The 23-year old told the club's official website: "I think playing at White Hart Lane always gives us an advantage. It'll be nice playing under the lights at home and all the lads are looking forward to it.

"At the end of the day we're in the competition to win it. I think we've got a good enough squad here to do that and after the win on Sunday it gives us an even more positive attitude to go and start off with a win against Qarabag.

"We've got a run of home games now and we want a run of wins – that would be the ideal scenario."
