Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli admits speaking with boss Mauricio Pochettino about his on-field temper.

Alli was banned last season for lashing out at West Brom's Claudio Yacob and gained a reputation for being a hot head.

He said: “I have made a few mistakes with my temper, but I have learned from that, the manager has spoken to me and I realise I can't do those kind of things and need to keep them under control.

"I wouldn't say I'm the finished article, I still have a lot to learn and can keep improving. I'm just going to keep working hard on and off the training field."
