Tottenham are making a final bid for West Brom striker Saido Berahino.

The Daily Mail says Spurs are to pitch their proposal at around £17millon - considerably short of the amount bid in the summer.

Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear that he still wants Berahino and chairman Daniel Levy will finally try to seal a deal in the coming days.

It remains to be seen whether Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace will accept the package - particularly given he rejected three offers, the final worth £22million, in the summer.
