Tottenham are preparing a major offer for AS Roma centre-forward Mirko Vucinic. The unsettled Montenegrin has long been a target for Spurs, and Roma could be willing to allow him leave after signing Bojan Krkic from Barcelona.
Leggo says Roma expect Harry Redknapp's side to return with another bid before the new season begins.
It is also being reported that Roma want £17.5m for the 27-year-old, although Tottenham are thought unlikely to go beyond £13m for the forward.
