Tottenham are ready to make a new offer for Ipswich Town striker Connor Wickham.

The Daily Mail says Tottenham are preparing an improved £8million offer for Ipswich starlet Wickham.

Ipswich are determined to hold on to the England U17 international and have already rebuffed one Tottenham proposal of £5m plus an offer to loan the player back.

Manager Harry Redknapp will try again with an improved, restructured bid but fears Ipswich are holding out for closer to £10m for the 17-year-old.
