Tottenham are chasing Wolfsburg attacker Mario Mandzukic.

Spurs made an attempt in January for the Croatia international, but the move was blocked by Wolfsburg coach Felix Magath. Now circumstances have changed.

Agent Ivan Cvjetkovic told Kicker: "Magath has informed us that no agreement to extend the contract with Mandzukic will be sought and that Mario can leave Wolfsburg if a good offer arrives."

Tottenham are expected to try again for the 25 year-old with a bid of £8 million - once their Champions League status is decided.
