Tottenham make move for West Ham keeper Green

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is moving for released West Ham United goalkeeper Robert Green.

The Mirror says Green is on Tottenham's radar after the England keeper decided to quit West Ham.

Green, 32, is a free agent having turned down a new deal with the Premier League-bound play-offs winners - which has alerted Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, who wants to bring in a new keeper.

Redknapp must lose misfit Brazilian goalie Heurelho Gomes first, but definitely wants fresh competition for the club's American veteran No.1, Brad Friedel.
