Premier League clubs are battling for Ajax fullback Gregory van der Wiel.
The Dutchman had been expected to sign for Valencia this month, but no deal has yet been agreed.
However, Tottenham are making a late move to trump Valencia for Van der Wiel with Los Che's latest bid still falling €2 million short of Ajax's price.
Van der Wiel is comfortable at both left- and right-back.
