Tottenham have reportedly made an enquiry into the possible purchase of Maarten Stekelenburg from AS Roma.
Spurs' interest in the 29-year old Dutch goalkeeper was reported earlier this week and now Goal.com suggests that the North London club have made contact with Roma regarding his availability.
It is believed that Roma will allow Stekelenburg to leave for around £5.7million as Tottenham look to spend significantly less than the £12m they were quoted for Lyon's Hugo Lloris.
