Tottenham are launching a £10 million bid for Chelsea striker Danny Sturridge.

The Daily Mail says Spurs, who are expected to confirm the appointment of former Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas as their next manager, have made the 22-year-old their top target.

Sturridge is currently seeking showdown talks with Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo having fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
