Tottenham are to be without defender Kyle Naughton for some time after he suffered a serious ankle injury.
The 25-year old sustained ankle ligament damage in the 1-0 win over Southampton on Sunday and will now spend time on the sidelines after the club confirmed the problem.
Naughton was deputizing for the injured Kyle Walker at right-back and was making his seventh appearance of the season when the injury occurred.
Youngster Eric Dier came off the bench to replace Naughton on Sunday and is expected to be used at right-back while he and Walker are out of action.
