Tottenham have lodged a bid for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.

Sky Sports says Tottenham have made an offer of £15million for Grealish.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino believes Grealish's skill and high energy fits the profile he wants for his squad and the 22-year-old is keen on developing alongside the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane.

Grealish has plenty of interest from other Premier League clubs including Leicester City, Everton and West Ham but his preference is understood to be Tottenham.

Spurs have attempted to beat their rivals to his signature with an early offer of £15m.
