Tottenham are lining up a bid for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitarya.

Isvestia says Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, who has been developing close ties with Shakhtar over the past 12 months, has registered his interest in Mkhitarya for the summer market.

Only last week, the Ukraine international, who has also been linked with Chelsea, admitted he wanted to move to England this summer.
