Tottenham legend Glenn Hoddle has been won over by Liverpool superkid Raheem Sterling.
Hoddle was impressed by Sterling on his England debut last week.
He told Absolute Radio: "I thought that lad Sterling looked decent. He looked like he needs, you always need about 10 games in international football to feel at home but if he gets a little run, he could be the real deal because he plays with his head up, he's a wide player but can play with his head up. Which is pretty unique sometimes, these players seem to get their head down too quickly. But he looked quite promising to me, I must say."
Hoddle was speaking to Ian Wright of Absolute Radio Rock n' Roll Football. Every Saturday from 5pm on 1215AM. For more visit absoluteradio.co.uk/football.
