Danny Rose is confident of earning a place in the England squad for the upcoming European Championships in France.
Rose has been one of the stars for Tottenham this season and the left-back was recently rewarded for his fine form for Spurs, after being handed a chance to make his debut for the England national team against Germany on Saturday.
Despite the recent selection, Rose has gone on to acknowledge the fact that his place in the 23-man England squad heading to France is not assured and insisted that he is working hard in order to earn a ticket to the Euro2016.
The Spurs star said: "There is very good competition at left-back.
"England are spoilt for choice at left-back. I've had to bide my time but there's a saying 'better late than never'.
"I hope I can just continue this good form I have shown at Tottenham over the last two years and I hope I can make it on the plane come the end of May, start of June."
