Tottenham are making a firm move for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.

The Birmingham Mail says Spurs are leading the race for Grealish and are considering making an official bid.

Six clubs are interested in Villa's star performer who is expected to fetch between £25m-£30m.

Reports this evening state that Spurs are looking to get Grealish on the cheap and will test the water with a £15m approach.

Villa have to sell off their top performers to help cover running costs at the club and Grealish will command the highest fee. Leicester City and Newcastle United are also keen while Manchester United, Arsenal and West Ham have been linked.

Spurs would appear an ideal fit for Grealish.

Boss Mauricio Pochettino has a history of developing young talent and has been known to get the best out of players - and Grealish is also close with Dele Alli.
