Tottenham are launching a bid for Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler. The Daily Star says German sources state Spurs are preparing a £17m bid for highly coveted midfielder.
Two newspapers in Gelsenkirchen claim that new Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has made Draxler one of his top summer transfer targets.
Draxler, 20, has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham's north-London rivals Arsenal, and according to reports in January, the midfielder was close to joining the FA Cup winners.
