Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy hasn't ruled out bringing any players this month, but admitted it would be difficult to do so.
Spurs' preseason ambition of winning the Premier League title is all but over and they currently find themselves focused on a battle for the top-four spots.
Despite being fifth on the table, Mauricio Pochettino's side are only three points behind Liverpool (4th) and five behind Chelsea (3rd), and Levy insists the option to improve the squad in this month's transfer window is available, but it's not necessarily possible.
"Mauricio's strategy has always been that if an opportunity arises that he thinks can improve the squad then we will need to look at it, but January is always a very difficult window," said Levy.
